New Zealand producer Sanoi is set to release a series of club singles on Loop Electronic, a new sub-label of Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa, just in time for the summer festival season.
This marks the first new material from Sanoi since his 2023 album Echoes of Love, designed for a rich, layered listening experience at home. These new singles bring a high-energy, dance-floor-focused sound that aligns more closely with Sanoi’s club and DJ sets.
The first single, Ratatat, is high-energy and primed for the dancefloor, in line with the current Berlin/European festival sound. Sanoi’s latest productions lean into Indie Dance and Dark Disco. These genres take inspiration from 1980's electro drums, percussion, and synth, combined with modern House and Techno production values.
Sanoi’s first new music arrives after 12 months which has seen him share the stage with the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Hybrid Minds, Barry Can’t Swim and more. He has also performed capacity shows throughout Germany, Australia and New Zealand, which has inspired the musical direction of these latest releases. Before the end of 2024, Sanoi will release two new original tracks, alongside remixes for Berlin-based Kon Faber and Boy Oh Boy. The coming summer, Sanoi will perform at Rhythm & Alps, Shipwrecked Festival, and a dozen other shows across Australia and New Zealand.
