Asha Maihi is a talented 12-year-old singer-songwriter who is set to release her second single, Star on November 25, 2024.

Asha’s impressive songwriting reflects a maturity beyond her years, resonating with listeners of all ages. She has a remarkable ability to express emotions through her music, despite her young age. With several other songs already penned and two new tracks in the works, Asha's creative journey promises to captivate fans as she continues to evolve as an artist.

Asha's first single My Shoulder To Cry On and newest offering Star were produced, mixed, and mastered by Kahu S-B, ensuring a polished and professional sound that complements Asha's songwriting, setting the stage for her promising music career.

Asha hails from the beautiful Pohutukawa Coastline of Kawakawa Bay in Auckland and is now based in the stunning Tasman region. A passionate multi-instrumentalist, she is currently honing her skills in guitar, piano, and drums.

Asha has performed on stage from a very young age in a professional capacity as a singer and backup vocalist for a former local music show in Nelson. She also enjoys performing in a school band plus kapa haka performances and has been the kaitātaki wahine for a number of years.
