Up-and-coming Nelson-based singer-songwriter Amelia Power is bringing the carefree energy of summer to life with the release of her latest single Atmosphere, available now on all streaming platforms. With its lighthearted feel, euphoric lyrics, and infectious vibe, Atmosphere aims to be the soundtrack to everyone’s sun-soaked days driving with the windows rolled down.

This song was written by Amelia Power and Kahurangi Sanson-Burnett, with production, mixing, and mastering by Kahu SB (Kahurangi Sanson-Burnett).

“We often forget to notice and be grateful for the small things that cross our paths. My songs are there to remind us that there’s a beauty that can be found in everything if we ourselves know where to look.”

Having spent some time in the UK last year, she had the opportunity to perform at the Chatham Maritime Festival and do some performances accompanied by her uncle Brendan Power on the harmonica. Amelia plans for lots more gigs this year and putting herself out there as a New Zealand artist!

Amelia’s debut single Paradigm, released in January 2024, was all about overcoming personal hardship and letting go of what no longer serves us to find personal peace and freedom. Paradigm was self-recorded and enhanced at Hummingbird Recording Studio in Nelson with top producer/singer-songwriter Bryce Wastney.
