It’s been a musical journey that has seen Ghost navigate 3 albums (2 solo), a mix CD, numerous vinyl EPs and singles, remix credits for the likes of The Heavy, Nicole Wills & The Soul Investigators, Coldcut, Bonobo, Kashmere, Jehst to name a few, and throughout Ghost has received critical acclaim and support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Mr. Scruff, Gilles Peterson, and a host of DJs across the globe. In 2009 Ghost moved to NZ and has been immersing himself in the local music scene since. “Postcards from the Edge”, Ghost’s 3rd solo album, pushes further his penchant for intimately crafted works of deeply layered musical treasures. With a palette of lush synths, off kilter beats and brooding bass, Ghost merges his Hip Hop roots with a love of Wonky Beats, Dubstep and electronica.

One of the most acclaimed breakthrough acts of the last year, Brooklyn’s Bear In Heaven, released their “Beast Rest Forth Mouth” to enormous critical praise. Drowned In Sound “A major creative force... their invention and imagination, mingled with their astute pop nous have combined to produce an album which is fit to stand toe to toe with most that will be released this year.” Pitchfork "Bear In Heaven has figured out how to render bodily sensations, fears, and passions into what feel like effortless three to four minute pop songs. This is the sort of thing that lesser bands might try their entire careers to do and never accomplish."

It might come as a surprise to learn that “Agents of Time” is Jonson's debut solo album. He's been a major figure on the scene almost since the moment he emerged in 2001, with hotly tipped singles for Perlon and Minus quickly raising his profile. Since then, he's turned out 20-odd singles and EPs, plus remixes for theChemical Brothers, Moby, Swayzak and even Nelly Furtado. On his own, as a member of Cobblestone Jazz, and as a co-founder of the Wagon Repair label, Jonson has continually pushed and prodded electronic dance music's familiar forms into more distinctive shapes, without ever losing focus on the dancefloor.

Over nearly two decades the tale to Toe To Toe has been rooted in survival, struggle and conviction. Arturo ‘Thunder’ Gatti was a champion boxer who had three of his career fights called ‘Fight Of The Year’ by Ring Magazine. After his retirement in 2009 Gatti was found dead in a Brazilian hotel room, allegedly strangled by his jealous wife. Recorded at Three Phase studios in Melbourne with Sam Johnson, “Arturo Gatti” is perfect hardcore, the kind of music Toe To Toe have always made, full of passion and bile, vitriol and power.
