Shepherds of Cassini, the psychedelic prog quartet renowned for their atmospheric and exotic sound, are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of their third full-length album, In Thrall to Heresy. Set to release on 21st February 2025, the album marks the band’s triumphant return after a seven-year hiatus. Fans can now stream the new single, Red Veil, on Bandcamp and all major platforms.

The album was recorded and mixed by longtime collaborator Dave Rhodes at The Chapel studio in early 2024 and mastered by Luke Finlay of Primal Mastering. Featuring the band’s signature fusion of crushing riffs, psychedelic soundscapes, and exotic melodic passages, In Thrall to Heresy explores new sonic dimensions that showcase the group’s evolution and innovative spirit.

Adding a visual dimension to the release, the artwork, including hand-painted pieces and lettering, was created by Moonroot, a new artist brought on board for this project.

In Thrall to Heresy will be released on 21st February 2025 in digital, CD, and limited edition 2LP vinyl formats.
