Sanoi’s first new music since 2023’s album Echoes of Home arrives after 12 months where he’s shared the stage with The Chemical Brothers, Hybrid Minds, Barry Can’t Swim and more. He has also performed capacity shows throughout Germany, Australia and New Zealand, which has inspired the musical direction of this latest release.
The EP begins with Shipwrecked, an Indie-Dance production created especially for last summer’s Shipwrecked Festival, NZ’s premier gathering for underground house and techno. The track has since been a staple of Sanoi’s live sets, and the EP arrives just days before his return to the Shipwrecked stage for the 2025 instalment.
Chill Bill and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang see Sanoi collaborating with fellow producers Boznich and Jake Rattler for two high-energy, driving, dark disco-inspired tunes. The EP also includes Ratatat, a single which has become a favourite across student/alternative radio in NZ.
Following on from a busy live schedule and a stream of remixes, Loose Change EP sees Sanoi further solidify his place as a key figure in New Zealand contemporary electronic music. Already showcased at some of Australasia’s biggest stages, the coming months will see Sanoi continue to grow his genre-blurring sound.
UPCOMING SHOWS:
Friday February 7 - Shipwrecked Festival, Te Arai
Saturday February 15 - Naked In The Trees, Taumaranui
Friday February 21 - Golden Valley Festival, Waihi Valley
