Celebrated Aotearoa saxophonist and producer Nathan Haines caps off the success of his acclaimed album, Notes, with the release of the final single - a dancefloor rendition of Night Moves featuring emerging vocalist Ruby.

Reimagined by the visionary producer Crackazat, this remix is an upbeat blend of jazz/house that perfectly encapsulates the creative synergy between two genre-defying artists.

Crackazat, a Bristol-born producer and multi-instrumentalist, has earned a reputation for his signature fusion of jazz, funk, and soulful house music. Drawing inspiration from a deep musical heritage and technical mastery, Crackazat has been a staple on labels like Freerange and Local Talk. His remixes and original compositions have become anthems for lovers of dance music with heart and sophistication.

Haines reflects on the collaboration: "Crackazat's remix takes Night Moves to another level - his ability to weave deep grooves with intricate melodies is extraordinary. It's the perfect way to close out this chapter of Notes."

The release comes in the middle of a summer which is seeing Haines perform at Flamingo Pier and the Hamilton Garden Arts Festival. This follows on from a monumental 2024 for Haines, who has further solidified his status as one of New Zealand's most influential jazz and electronic artists. The album Notes saw critical acclaim and widespread support, with singles gracing playlists worldwide. Notes represents Haines’ lifelong commitment to pushing musical boundaries by featuring a dynamic blend of live instrumentation and electronic elements.
