It's been three years since Tourist released their critically acclaimed and widely applauded debut 'Minutes Last For Years.' The debut album (on the back of two sell-out EP's) achieved ground breaking success for the Auckland based band, opening doors on a number of continents and exposing the bands music to a wide international audience. Featuring songs such as the #1 hit and ISC Songwriting Finalist 'Do You Feel The Cold?', title track and Juice TV award nominated 'Minutes Last For Years' and popular singles 'Did You Kill Your Love' and 'Suburban Skies' the album cemented the band and songs on radio and television in New Zealand and overseas.
Bunkered down in Tourist HQ during the credit crisis and global financial meltdown award winning musician and songwriter Peter J. Rudd has been in writing and production mode. Finally, with a new line-up the wait is over and the highly anticipated new single from one of the country's most influential rock acts is set for release.
Recorded with award winning producer Greg Haver, Tourist's first single from their forthcoming new album is titled 'Find A Way To Fool Your Heart.' A bold statement on the local music landscape this song is sure to find a home on New Zealand airwaves and set the tone for the groups new record.
