A capacity crowd at The Kings Arms on Saturday night set the scene for a monumental night of new NZ music; with 14 bands from around the country pouring their hearts and souls into their 15 minute sets; battling to be this year’s National Champions.
POPPY DUST from Wellington took out first place with an energetic, unique set of up tempo, very catchy pop songs that had the audience enthusiastically dancing and singing along for their entire performance.
TRIBALSTATE from Auckland were a close second place performing a tight, melodic set of well crafted rock songs, with superb vocal harmonies, musicianship and song arrangements.
