Band & Musician News - Sophie's Lullaby: New Video Clip from Tahuna Breaks

07 December 2010 - 0 Comments

TAHUNA BREAKS are proud to release the video to 'Sophie’s Lullaby', a track written for singer Marty Greentree’s eldest daughter, Sophie (who also appears in the video).

The video was directed by Christian Greet of Cirkus, and was shot using steady cams, wheelchair cams, cranes and remote controlled helicopters.  A number of historical Auckland locations were used in the video.

Director Christian Greet: “I immediately felt connection to this song and wanted to create a music video with a calming lullaby feel.  With that in mind I ventured on an 18 month journey from idea to finished product.  I was amazed by the dedication and willingness of so many people who generously donated so much of their time and resources.”

All post production was performed @ Cirkus Auckland by various performers.

This video represents the final instalment of releases from the 2009 album 'Black Brown and White'. Tahuna Breaks are currently writing and recording fresh material and will be releasing a brand new single in early 2011.
