Psylince Records presents Psyrok & Li'l Sister Jen - 'Calculus' EP to be released on 16 Jan 2012.

Following on from 2009’s ‘Akinosuke’, New Zealand based electronic artist Psyrok and Swedish vocalist Li’l Sister Jen (aka Jenny Larsson) return with their second collaborative EP entitled ‘Calculus’.

‘Calculus’ sees the pair continue their method of collaborating over the internet, with Psyrok producing, arranging and mixing the music in his home studio in Wellington, New Zealand; while Jen records her vocal tracks half a world away in Stockholm, Sweden.

The two have never met, and aside from a joint interview with Radio New Zealand, they have never even spoken. While this approach may seem unconventional to some, it works well for this pairing, with the isolation involved in the recording of the EP adding to the tone of the finished compositions.

‘Calculus’ is released on Psyrok’s label ‘Psylice Records’ and will be available for free download at http://www.psyrok.com/ and http://www.psylincerecords.com/. A limited edition CD version will also be available, and the digital version will be available from iTunes and all other major online music stores.
