Band & Musician News - The Black Seeds release new single and video

The Black Seeds release new single and video

13 June 2012 - 0 Comments

Hot off the heels of their New Zealand release tour in May, The Black Seeds are pleased to announce the release of the new music video for ‘Cracks In Our Crown’– the second single off their latest album ‘Dust And Dirt’.

Filmed at Island Bay Studios in Wellington and directed by Darwin Go, the video follows an elderly man as he gets lost in a surreal world of mazes and faceless dancers.

‘Dust And Dirt’, The Black Seeds first studio album in four years, was released in New Zealand on April 9 where it debuted at #1 in the NZ album charts.

Self recorded and produced in their Wellington studio, the album introduces new sounds and styles not heard on previous releases whilst retaining the trademark sound that has seen The Black Seeds remain one of New Zealand’s premiere acts for over a decade.
