BIC RUNGA
TO RELEASE FIRST EVER CAREER SPANNING COLLECTION ‘ANTHOLOGY’ ON NOVEMBER 23
This November Bic Runga will release her first ever greatest hits collection.
Bic’s unique pop songs and hauntingly beautiful melodies have earned her a very special place in the pantheon of New Zealand song.
‘Anthology‘ features every hit from Bic’s multi platinum, award winning studio albums plus a selection rarities & fan favorites.
Since the release of her debut single ‘Drive’ in 1996, Bic has been awarded virtually every musical honour in New Zealand, including the APRA Silver Scroll Songwriting Award, a brace of Tui’s and multi-platinum discs.
Across her four studio albums; Drive (1997), Beautiful Collision (2002), Birds (2005) and last year’s release Belle, Bic has sold over 350,000 albums in New Zealand alone (22 x Platinum).
Her songs have featured on hit film soundtracks, her records released around the world, and she has won followings in Europe, Asia and North America.
This is also the first release of Bic’s to feature her hit single ‘Good Morning Baby’ featuring Dan Wilson, made famous when it appeared in the film American Pie.
The album will be available as a 22 track single disc and also as a Deluxe Coffee Table Book featuring un-released photographs, lyrics and personal linear notes written by Bic.
