Band & Musician News - Clara van Wel To Release New Single 'Beautiful'

Clara van Wel To Release New Single 'Beautiful'

20 February 2013 - 0 Comments

Clara van Wel, winner of New Zealand’s Got Talent 2012, will release her highly anticipated new single ‘Beautiful’ on March 1st.  The single will also be included on Clara’s forthcoming debut album, due for release in April this year.

‘Beautiful’ encompasses the spirit and imagination of young love dreamt of, but not yet experienced.

Clara explains, “Beautiful is a song about wanting to be noticed and loved, and how a lot of us have insecurities about the way we look. I hope the people who hear this song recognise the beauty within themselves and look deeper than the surface when they look at others”.

Since winning New Zealand’s Got Talent, Clara has been busy writing and recording her debut album at Auckland studio The Lab, with producers Joel Little  and Mark Dennison.

Clara is also currently touring New Zealand as a special guest on the Winery Tour alongside Fat Freddy’s Drop, Anika, Boh & Hollie and The Adults.

‘Beautiful’ will released digitally from March 1st.

Clara’s debut album will be released in April 2013.
