Eden Mulholland releases debut album ‘Feed The Beast’ in June

07 May 2013 - 0 Comments

Feed the Beast is Eden Mulholland’s (Motocade) debut solo album, in part inspired by his compositions for theatre and dance, in part by his overall genre defiance as a musician. The album traverses a complex musical landscape where you really can expect the unexpected; one moment the journey is urgent and driving, the next it is coolly understated and sculpted. Throughout it is Eden’s signature fearless vocals that show the way.

FEED THE BEAST ALBUM RELEASE DATE: Friday June 7th.

Eden who is now based in Melbourne will be doing a New Zealand Music Month showcase:
Wellington - Wednesday 16th  May @ Puppies
Auckland - Thursday 23rd  May @ Freeman & Grey

And will then tour New Zealand performing his new album in July:

I Will Echo, the first single from Feed the Beast was premiered by Triple J’s Dom Allessio and described by the J’s Lewi McKirdy as “super catchy.... infectious hook and the politeness of pop". Feed the Beast is the follow up to Eden’s acclaimed Jesus Don’t You Get My Jokes EP, summarized by one reviewer as being “enough to give you major goosebumps”. His music has been variously described as “expansive and epic”, “haunting” and “fantastical”, and his style has been compared to Brian Eno, Cloud Control, Losing Myself and Atlas Genius.

Feed The Beast was recorded and mixed by Neil Baldock (Crowded House, Sarah Blasko) at Roundhead Studios.
