With an inimitable sound best described as groove-based music, featuring tasteful soul-infused melodies from a host of guest vocalists, The Means are pleased to announce the release of a new single entitled Modern Marvel, featuring the exquisite vocals of ex-pat and regular collaborator, Esther Stephens.
Modern Marvel has a dark, sultry, post-romantic vibe. Languid electric guitar riffs float over a definitive drum track, escalating into a contemptuous chorus and a discordant, rockier instrumental.
Modern Marvel is a precursor to The Means’ forthcoming 7-track EP The Ends set for release on November 1st.
The Means: a band, a production unit, a burgeoning empire, a philosophy.
