Band & Musician News - Dying of The Light release 'Factory' video

08 May 2014 - 0 Comments

New Zealand Music Month is getting into full swing so it is a fitting time for Dying of The Light to release a new video for their version of the kiwi classic Shihad head banger Factory.

The 100% self funded and self-produced clip is a full bore tribute to Shihad in the aggressive and innovative early stages of their career. The 1993 debut Churn from which the song comes is a hugely influential record for Dying of The Light, so it was a real challenge to do the song justice. Dying of The Light play a loyal version of the tune flavoured with a heavier tuning and a darker delivery that is true to the spirit of the original while making it their own. Factory is the last song on Dying of The Light’s 4 track Monolithium EP.

Dying of The Light are: Chris Rigby – Bass and Vocals Rangi Powick – Guitars, Vocals, Production and Programming

Dying of The Light is: Gargantuan grind power riffs, rumbling volcano bass, concussion-inducing drums of war and vocals that are the stuff of nightmares. The heavy sound of the modern heart. http://www.dyingofthelightnz.com/
