The Bleeders release their new single 'So Lonely' on 17 September

September is the month for music awards to be handed out to NZ artists - we have award ceremonies for Handle The Jandal, the Juice TV Music Video Awards and the B.Net Music Awards. Then there's New Zealand's very own coveted music award ceremony - The Tuis.

On top of this there will also be the MC Brutality Battles and the NZ DMC Finals in Auckland.

Add to all this the latest NZ On Air Funding round, and the announcement of the grand final winners for the Battle Of The Bands and the Smokefree Rockquest in early October, and you have a recipe for some great new releases from NZ artists.

We have some of the releases from August up for grabs on the muzic.net.nz competition page - you can win Fang's album 'Swim Up Stream', Tempo 38's exclusive 'Con' EP, Sommerset's 'Say What You Want' album and a wicked prize pack from Fourth Member, who released their single 'Sunsets' during August.
