Band & Musician News - Bulletbelt - 'Faster Than Death' Music Video
26 July 2018 - 0 Comments
"Fly with us, down the spiral. The darkness engulfing our
way!" And so begins a new phase in the history of the New Zealand heavy
metal entity that is
Bulletbelt.
Introduced to the global metal scene by the
comedy/splatter movie Deathgasm, Bulletbelt are proud to announce the music
video for their new single
Faster Than Death.
Directed by
Amber Beaton,
the video features the recording debut of new singer Scott Spatcher-Harrison -
a longtime friend of the band and stalwart of the New Zealand heavy metal scene
- and lead guitarist Josh O'Brien.
Written between touring with the UKs Dragonforce, and
AUS/NZ tours with Venom Inc and Sabbat (Japan), the new single demonstrates the
singular drive and determination of a heavy metal band in the epoch of their
progression.
Faster Than Death is also now avalable to pre-order
on 7" vinyl, with merch bundle options, via the bands
Bandcamp Page.
The B side of the vinyl features another original
track,
The Voyager, which sees the band contnue on their dynamic original
heavy metal path. The song illicited this response from Ambient Light Blog at a
recent Auckland appearance supporting Sabbat (Jap) - "hefty riffs that conjured
up images of barren fields covered in fog, wild horses stampeding through, their
hooves pounding the earth."
