With 3 singles under their belt, their debut self-funded, 8-track album in the works, and growing interest from Australia, the UK, and Europe, Christchurch band Hypnumb are raising funds to tour the UK this June.
Hypnumb are a blues-rock band from Christchurch, who've been writing, performing and honing their sound for the past 2 years. Runners up in Bandemonium last year, Hypnumb give everything they've got to their live performances.
The band have recently had two invitations to perform at festivals in the UK this June and July, and not ones to let an opportunity pass them by, they have booked extra UK shows, will be performing alongside established acts, and cementing the chance to introduce new audiences to their unique brand of NZ rock.
They've even gone and filmed a tongue-n-cheek music video about their need for funds and the general difficulties new bands face in NZ's tough music climate.
These guys are fresh, hungry, gritty, focused, and determined to get to the UK. If you like the sound of Hypnumb, and are keen to help the next wave of Kiwi rock get a leg up, head to their Boosted page for more information and to make a donation.
