Poneke-based songwriter Claudia Jardine has dropped a new video and her debut EP.
Hide pulls the listener into a tumbling somersault down the grassy hill of folk-pop with lyrics on the theme of self-growth and discovery. In Hide, director Martin Sagadin and Jardine take inspiration from Wes Anderson’s 2012 film ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ for the aesthetic, including customised proficiency badges for the “grub scouts.” Mutant and handsome pug Frank steals the show and adds to the charming innocence of the backyard escapade. Hide is track 4 on Jardine’s debut North EP, available now on bandcamp.
