West Auckland based band Animalhead are due to release their third single Stoneface Killer on May 24th, and they are amping. 

It has been 6 months since their well-received single Rabbit Hole was released and smashed out 100,000 streams, and it’s about time they gave us a new heavy riff to get stuck in our heads!

The song Stoneface Killer started as an idea that everybody has that "one".

The one person that let you down or broke your heart, made you feel things you cannot forget. This idea allowed some heavy riffs and vocals to shine through. 

Animalhead has mixed up the recording process yet again by fusing a live recording at The Lab Recording Studio with a mix from the Legend himself Zorran Mendonsa (Coridian, Crooked Royals, New Way Home) then topping it off with a master from Swedish based Jenz Borgen (Sepultura, Opeth, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Devin Townsend) from Fascination Studios. What a Brew!

After some heavy touring in 2018 alongside old time buddies Skinny Hobos and Coridian, the lads have continued hitting the underground rock scene hard in recent months allowing them to continue to perfect their energy fuelled live shows. Be sure to check them out in the next coming months at various venues throughout Auckland and New Zealand’s thriving Rock Scene. 

Stoneface Killer is due for release May 24th 2019 via all free media streaming sites thanks to NZ’s own DRM.
