7 Ways is the 3^rd single to emerge from Investigator’s self-titled EP and it’s just in time for summer!

With its pulsing “Springsteen Beat”, driving rhythm and quintessential guitar melody, 7 Ways punches hard from the start. Engineer/Producer, Kane Bennett’s synth work adds to the soaring choruses and melodrama evoked by Adrian Drew’s vocals.

The song was actually the first to be recorded on the album, with those in studio instantly feeling that they were making something special. Adrian describes the song as a proverb; “People have many faces but truth can be the hardest to face.”

Artwork designed by Andrew Ferguson, an Englishman who hosted a TV Show with Adrian while living in NZ. Now back in the UK, “Fergs” has battled with encephalitis over the past 3 years but offered to design the album sleeve as a kind of therapy. The result is striking and heartwarming.

Investigator will be back in the studio in December, with a fistful of new songs and collaborations. Also stay tuned for an exciting summer gig announcement happening this month!
