Band & Musician News - Little Ripples' 'Rise and Fall' set to stream

Little Ripples' 'Rise and Fall' set to stream

11 May 2020 - 0 Comments

Family folk musicians Little Ripples are set to release their sophomore album on all popular digital music streaming platforms. Rise and Fall presents a new collection of songs embodying all of the holistic and heart-warming themes that have won the hearts of their listeners, in a more focused and cohesive folk music production. Riding the success of their first album which completely sold out, the duo have moved quickly to release another album for their steadily-increasing fanbase. The decision to now make the second album available on digital streaming platforms positions the group to reach a whole new demographic of listeners.

Based in coastal Whangarei, the heart of Little Ripples are Sam and Emily Benge, parents and teachers who know the power of music for children and families. Mindfulness and connection are key themes explored in their music, as fundamental principles of well-being. Their wholesome appeal has drawn critical reception from industry professionals such as the late Arthur Baysting, New Zealand songwriter, producer, and children's advocate. It comes as no surprise that their music has become a staple for many early childhood and primary education contexts. Little Ripples are heartened to find their music weaving itself into the fabric of family lives “It’s a powerful motivation to keep making, when we hear stories of families drawing comfort and joy from our music”.

Rise and Fall goes live alongside their debut album on Apple Music and Spotify from May 1st, 2020. Physical CDs can also be purchased from their website: www.littleripples.co.nz.
