When five South Auckland teenagers got together in 1998 to enter the YFC Capital Teen Convention band competition none of them had any clue that six years later they'd be playing in front of over 6,000 people at an event like Parachute 04, but such is the case with Mumsdollar.
The original five guys are now all out of their teens and look far more respectable than they did in the beginning and their music has followed a similar trend, moving from the fast punk rock beginnings to a more polished, rockier sound that has produced many catchy songs with kids around the country singing along.
MumsDollar first debuted in the Official New Zealand Top 40 Albums on 26 January 2009 with the album Ruins. There is one entry by MumsDollar in the charts.
