Help! Vox AC30 and Custom Tele STOLEN! Posted: Wed Oct 5, 2005 7:50 am Posted on behalf of [email protected] He has made a poster with images @ http://www.ignition.net.nz/JonoLee/Stolen.pdf Dear Friends, Please help me. On the night of the 2nd of October, on the corner of Dundonald St, and Newton Rd, in the CCC Church carpark, between the times of 8.45pm and 9.00pm, my car was broken into. In this 15 minute window, theives were able to empty my car of roughly $7000 worth of equipment, in a CHURCH carpark, at the end of a service, where people should have been getting in their cars, and SHOULD have seen something... Please. I'm begging you. If you see the guitar from my picture (www.myspace.com/jonothetunesmith - check the “more pictures” button) being played by ANYONE in New Zealand, please tell me. Its a one in a million guitar, theres no other ones in the world like it. If you see that, chances are we can trace the rest of the gear - which includes, an original 1982-85 Vox AC30, with no "Vox" label on the front and a Green and Red cross stitch; and a bunch of effects - a Proco Rat, a G2D Custom, and a Boss DD5. The guitar is a Fender Telecaster. If you see any adverts for this sort of stuff (Eg, metallic Blue Fender Tele, Vox AC30...) PLEASE tell me. This stuff is worth big time money. Here is the full description: Green Nike Bag (Containing…) Proco Rat – Chipped, missing a screw for the battery plate, held on by tape. G2D Custom – Number 467. Boss DD5 w/Tap Tempo (and a standard patch lead) 5x Custom Sommer/Switchcraft Patch Leads (6inch) 2x Custom Sommer/Switchcraft Instrument Leads (12ft) 1982/85 VOX AC30 Original 82 to 85 series VOX AC30. Has a RED/GREEN weave, a red control panel, a reverb that DOESN’T WORK, No VOX badge on the grille, Celestion Greens, tubes are very worn, channels occasionally experience a distortion similar to an untuned TV channel, and occasionally has a high pitched squeaking. If you are asked to repair this, or come across it for sale, PLEASE contact me! I will give you $500 cash, in the hand for the return of this amp, or any accurate information as to its whereabouts. CUSTOM TELECASTER (See photos – www.myspace.com/jonothetunesmith ) This custom telecaster is highly identifiable – it is a Metallic Surf Blue 1996 50th Edition Japanese Telecaster, which has been retrofitted with two Lace Sensor Chrome Domes in the middle and neck positions and a Lace Sensor T-150 Tele bridge pickup, with a custom Foto-Flame neck. There are NO OTHER GUITARS like this in New Zealand, or even the world. It is very distinguished, if you see this guitar for sale, or being played, PLEASE contact me! I will give you $500 cash for any accurate information, in the hand. I will be hunting around music shops, gigs, cash converters... but obviously I'm just one person, and if these idiots are smart, they will be well out of auckland by now. Please keep your eyes on the lookout. Please help me get this stuff back. I have spent years collecting it all, it really has been a life investment. To be trampled on like this is the worst feeling I have ever had in my life. Peace to you all. Jono Lee This message was edited by nivvy on Wed Oct 5, 2005 7:52 am.
