Rosita/NZ Idol
Posted: Mon Oct 17, 2005 1:11 pm
First off ...I couldn't give a rat's arse about this Idol farce. What slightly interested me was the comment from Howard Morrison which I saw in the Sunday Star-Times. He said that Rosita was too fat to be pop star.
Well, I've seen her (on TV promos for the show) and she strikes me as being amply proportioned rather than "fat".
Funny thing is, it was the final play-off last night and the winner's due to be announced tonight. And what's the betting that Morrison's "timely" remark will prove beneficial to Rosita?

I see he has publically apologised for the remark today.

But I think you may be correct in that it will prove beneficial, but I sure won't be getting all excited about it, no matter what the outcome.

Rosita deserves to win
for no other reason than
The Cynic hates Howard Morrison.

The cynic has not
trusted Howie since
he let it slip he thought about running for the act party.

being an arrogant talent free zone never
hurt Morrisons career
but then again
his dad was an All Black.

All up the cynic is inclined to say
leave howie alone
senility is to be pitied
as are the adult nappies the senile wear.

The Cynic was getting in on with this fat chick one night
and she says
Your organ is smaller than I thought it would be
so the cynic says
it never had to play a cathedral before
random musings
from the cynic

HOWARD MORRISON IS NO LONGER A KAUMATUA OF NZ MUSIC

What kinda person is proud to make such outbursts that degrade another person that does exactly the same job as he.

ROSITA deserved to win - she brung it to the stage live every week, and has the goods as 1.5 million new zealanders voted her in to be NEW ZEALAND IDOL 2005

YOU GO GIIIIIRRRLL - MUCH LOVE TO YOU !!!

well basicaly all this idol stuff is a load of shit.
its a waste of tv and they cant even sing that good.
they dont make it big and most of the time the person who comes second makes it bigger i mean look at michel murphy and ben lumus(i think thats his last name). murphy made it bigger than lumus. any way what im saying is that NZ idol and not just nz idol amerian idol and australian idol is all bullshit!

The Cynic thinks
it is a karaoke competition,
simple as that.

the idiots who vote
are led by the nose like cattle
by the obsequious judges
we don't even get
Simon Cowell

Morrison is an arrogant prick
getting on stage in rotorua
back in the sixties
and pushing a vacuum cleaner round behind Eddie Low
while he was holding long notes, opera style
bad form. especially considering Low being blind and vacuum cleaner not plugged in
he would be thinking
this should be knocking em dead
why are they laughing at me?
comments aboutHattie St John
of a similar nature on showcase
a few years ago (Howie was a judge)
and the fact that his relatives got higher scores than they deserved.
and some people complain about the battle of the bands

To compare Idol to real music
is like comparing play school
to adult programming
the cynic doesn't diss
but he couldn't give a rats arse
he is not a nine year old.

final thought on Howie
he got his break stealing Lonnie Donnegan
songs and changing the words
Skiffle is long dead Howie
there are no more Maori show bands
and in any case the Maori Volcanics kicked howies arse
and Prince Tui Teka, another fattie,
left howie for dead, literally in the end.
Why anyone would get the word of a has been
is beyond the cynic

The Cynic cannot wait till
someone decides to dig into the other boys
family history
Whats the bet howie
is a relative?

It was knocked off the singles last week too, with an equally inane song. It's back again this week with a new "ripped off inane techno beats and call it music" single.
