It's that time of the year again

Are you a NZ artist or a member of a NZ band that is releasing something in 2006? Or have you heard about a NZ release coming out next year? Let us know all about it here!

We need as much information you can give us - including release type (album, EP, single, DVD etc), name of the artist, name of the release and the release date (if you know what that is). Any info added to this forum will be checked out, and then added to the releases page and artists discographies when the time comes.

Auckland black-metallers Erotic Necrosis will be releasing a full length album late February/early March 2006 if all goes to plan with a live DVD to follow shortly after.

The album, yet unnamed will feature 9 tracks of melodic brutality at its best.

Diefenbacker is releasing 2 singles and an ep this year. The singles will also include remixes by legendary Coldcut collaborators from UK's VJamm Allstars (www.vjammallstars.com) and festival maestros, Innerfield (www.innerfield.co.uk), to keep the dance punters happy and multi media versions will include the videos for both songs.

The first single is likely to be released before the end of January, but Diefenbacker is still in negotiations with RBG records.

The singles have both been recorded at Backbeat Studios in Tauranga and mixed with Andrew Buckton at the controls at Studio 203 and are currently being mastered at Studios 301 in Sydney. Streamed versions will be online soon.... keep checking the Diefenbacker page!

Work on the ep continues, though we expect a release date towards the end of summer.

Hamilton hard rockers 8Forty8 are releasing a full length album due for release around February-March 2006, influenced by classic rock like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple etc.. You can check them out at their official website.. www.8forty8.co.nz

As do EVIL DEAD CREW, and the DEATH CITY ROCKERS
There will be a G.F.N.R Single released as well.

Also a DEMON NATION DVD with lots of archive footage will see the light of day in 2006.

Quarter2 are releasing they're first single with video "Beer Bellies". Produced and mixed by Hook from the band 48may.

Playing at Camp Baywatch (www.baywatch.co.nz) on the 30th Dec in Gisborne

Playing at Xair in Wellington January 21st

There will also be a national tour mid year plus an australian one at the end of next year
