Veni Vidi LP Release

Vibrasics, New Zealand's premier live hip-hop massive are to release their debut long-player, Veni Vidi in November. As a live act, they have a richer, more intricate sound than most crews. The seven piece band is not afraid to nod towards the jazz and funk explosions of yesteryear, or to mix and cut out a set like any DJ laying it down in 2005.

Veni Vidi was recorded over a week in beautiful Tautuku, in the South Island's Catlins. The music is an energetic, melodic, sometimes mellow, sometimes downright party take on the hip-hop tradition. It was finally sculpted in the mix by Stu Harwood and Lewis Waite, and mastered by the mighty Dale Cotton (Conray) at Audioworkshop in Auckland.

Veni Vidi will be released early November on Borderline Recordings. In promotion Vibrasics are touring Aotearoa in mid November and early December.
