Introducing... Tainted (ChCh Metal)

We are heading into the studio on 3 December to begin recording our full length album (10 tracks). Most of the material we have been playing live over the last 4 months or so, including the chch 8ft Sativa gig and Sinate gig, which were just fucking HUGE.

Sam Sheppard is producing the album and is flying down for 2 weeks to do it...we are fucking stoked to get him in on this...hes a very busy man at the moment. We also have some other NZ heavyweights coming in to contribute to our sound......one of whom we are absolutely fucking outright floored to have supporting us...but I cant say any more at this early stage.

Recording and mixing will be done at Blast studios here in Christchurch after much deliberation......it was a close call between Blast and York St.
Mastering will be done at York.

There will be a bit of video shot throughout the recording time and clips posted up on our site for viewing....will be a kewl insight for curious ppl into what goes on making a record and where the $$$$ go!

There is also a copy of "broken" mp3 from our May05 demo disc available for download from our new -still under construction- website www.tainted.co.nz.

Finally, big thx to the guys at the Essy in antichristchurch- Paul, Graig, Rene and Dawn for their total support. You guys fucken rock!

Ive downloaded the track, and hey, awesome to hear some good metal coming from christchurch, we're truly suffering a lack of metal music here.

Sam Sheppard was awesome to record with, it's great to have someone who knows metal inside-out with a real passion for it.
