PACIFIC SOUL (and jamoa jam) Posted: Mon Nov 25, 2002 4:52 pm TALOFA LAVA everyone!!! Just sending mad shout outz to the sexy ladiez of PACIFIC SOUL - New Zealand's answer to Sexy Polynesian Singing Queens. Now I didnt say dey were DA FIRST (some1 did that in anutha msg board and caused havoc). These girlz are however one of the BEST female bands to come out of NZ ... no doubt!!! Dey just released der debut self titled album and its BLOWIN UP. Peeps be vibin dez girls from USA, Australia, Tahiti, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji - dang even South Africa!! Aint half bad for 4 island girlz from New Zealand huh! They perform and travel wif Jamoa Jam and are doing gigs all over the country and now all ova da world! Oh and I heard der is a bit of hatred goin around bout dez girlz on THE NET! (sad but true). Even worse is most of it iz comin from der own peepz - yup ... otha samoan girlz!!! talk about JEALOUSY! I just wanna say that PACIFIC SOUL and JAMOA JAM are really great poly groups. Their music is loved by millions SO rumourz, hatred and dissing that you may hear is just dat - rumourz. They deserve support and respect for wot dey be doin for the island music industree. They are helpin to put puttin NZ and da islands on da map AND serve as good role models for our kidz encouragin dem that polyz can "make it" too. SHOT - NOW HOLLAH!!!! |

RE: PACIFIC SOUL (and jamoa jam) Posted: Wed Jan 5, 2005 1:01 am Yes i'd have to agree islanders are doing well with their music not only in the islands but here in nz dont you think? Ya but its great to see that islanders are creating music not only with the same culture but are working with others such as balangi's and other nationalized (not sure if thats even a word? lol true F.O.B in da house) peeps and pacific soul and jamoa jam are just one of the islands many favourites so go the islanders and im sure the best has yet to come out of these fine polynesian artists.
