P.O.D. (Payable on Death)
Posted: Thu Feb 16, 2006 3:12 pm
"P.O.D.s new album "Testify' has just been released in nz. Theyve had over 10 million records sold worldwide, including multiplatinum albums such as Satellite. With Hits such as 'alive' , 'youth of a nation', 'satellite', 'boom', 'willyou' and 'goodbye for now' One of the pioneers of 'rap-core', P.O.D have had 7 number one hits worldwide. "

Are you guys gonna buy the album? Note P.O.D are playing at all the edgefest shows this year, and its only $45 bux. I was just interested in what you guys thaught of them. Im gonna go check it out. Theyve only been to nz once before. So this may not ever happen again.

I'd rather rip out my eyeballs and eat them than listen to POD.

the edge blows. last time i heard them they never played the living end, and look who's coming. i would go to a cheap POD show if the edge wasnt involved.

POD is nu metal crap and therefore should not be respected or even talked about. Someone lock this topic.

Quite disappointing really..

You wouldn't know crap if it spat in your face and bit you in the ass man.
POD fucking rock, there is no doubt about that. Whats so bad about nu metal anyway? It has good stuff like koRn, disturbed, slipknot, mudvayne, fear factory, powerman 5000, onesidezero, static x, atreyu, as i lay dying, chevelle..
So your saying all of that is crap?
I don't think so..

POD are Christians, not saying that's a prerequisite to dislike them, just got better things to do than get preached to by a group of guys disguised as a band.

Fair enough, I just don't agree with you..
Although I would rather listen to gothic or progressive metal..
But nu metal does have it's lows eg. Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. It has way too much rap for my liking..
Yeah, I don't have anything else to say..
