Have the dates for all the regional heats, finals etc been released yet? If not anyone know when they will be?

Anyway - just talk about this years rockquest here (sorry if there's already another thread like this). Are you entering? Tell us about it!

yeah they have been released, if you go to school, the muic department should have been posted them and they're in the rockquest 06 booklet.

And yes, my band (the cessnas) is entering again this year. hopefully we get past the regionals this time.

Also as the rockquest machine (rockquest promotions) would like to tell you, bring all your friends/money to our gigs and a band they would like to reccomend is incursa. luckily they are the schools tour band this year as well, they want us to go pay to see them too, and buy drinks and badges and to bring extra money... (incursa are a good band too)

what do you think about the results of your heats???
lower hutt heats were a piece of crap. Vitus Dance swept the stage with all their glory only to be belittled by a generic punk band called only twice. they were absolute shit. Which probably wasn't a suprise considering which school they came from. And the electric confectionaries should try less.

pete and glen of rockquest promotions - based in nelson. i would guess they are the founders, i believe theres all that information in the rockquest handbook.

Re: prior post about schoolstour band and incursa - falter are schoolstour band this year (theset.co.nz (schools tour))

and i haven't heard anything from incursa for AGES...

aahh the rockquest....was it overdrive who won at some point? or it was the christchurch heats at least....man, they sucked....and they joint the battle of the bands this year too...*shudders*
