because gravity pulled him towards the earth and the monkeys gravitational force pulls the earth towards itself so gives one the impression of the monkey falling towards the ground. if the force of the earths mass pulling on the monkey is greater than that which the monkey can hold onto than the monkey will be forced to let go of the branch in which it was holding and will fall towards the centre of the earth.

once agen i av no idea man where u get this stuff but once u finished ur joke i got a hard one it's there's 2 brothers one tells the truth and one lies a man comes along searching for the city but there's only one road that leads to it the city is at one of the ends of the road(srry if confusing) and the man thats searching fo the city can only ask one question? What question do u av to ask the two brothers to get to the city???
