Is your band having practices constantly shut down by kill-joy neighbours?

Trying to reason with you neighbour and being rebuffed?
Wondering what your rights are and where to go to get help?

Television production company Greenstone Pictures is making a series looking into disputes between neighbours. We would like to hear from anyone experiencing problems with a neighbour. We appreciate that while this won’t be a suitable forum for everybody, there may well be those we can assist; with chosen disputes, we will not only film the story but make a genuine attempt to help solve the problem[s] using our range of experts and mediators.

Let me see, on one hand it could be a great publicity stunt, get yourself on tv for five minutes to the detriment of your neighbours.Chances are the programme will make you look the prize prick and not the neighbour who will have stories of day long practices and how they just want a couple of hours of quiet so the baby can get some sleep... but of course any publicity is good publicity. begs the question though, why aren't you using a practice room of some description?

Thanks for the reply. Our series will screen on TV2 - given the channel's young demographic, I imagine the audience would be more likely to identify with the band members. We produced a similar band-related noise story last year, and the musicians came across very well.
