RE: most embarrasing moment Posted: Wed Jul 4, 2007 4:44 pm many years ago the suburb in Chch I was living in was beset by some freak/deviant stealing Womans knickers and bras off the washing lines. People were quite fed up with this and the Cops even went so far as too say "Watch out, this sort of thing can lead to more serious business, etc". so anyway I guess this is on my mind, I'm finished my Bass lesson, walking home on a clear winters night , a little "foggy" after a "medicinal" application to see me off, and I pass this block of flats and in the front is this Pervert Peeping in the curtains. I duck down, roads quiet, tuck my bass in the line of the fence, quietly jump the low brick frontage and WHAM! jump shouting yahooing kicking and screaming on the peeping tom. BUT it is in fact a Lemon Tree with a tartan frost jacket on. I run , red faced, like the wind. Good Samaratin? I'll be sober next time I think. |

RE: most embarrasing moment Posted: Fri Jul 6, 2007 12:21 pm I had this problem guy at school ,bully loudmouth horrible to smaller kids etc, every school has this apparently, mostly harmless, but occasionally a right pain in the ass. at our school library if your books go overdue they read your name out at assembly to remind you. One of the Library helpers has hotpants for me so she kindly allows me to borrow a book under Tossers name. Book then disposed off in Fire Hose cabinet. It'll never be found, probably still there in fact. (deposited 1986) Assembly a month later Dean reads out Tossers name.... please return the book "Dressmaking For Dolls"...he's goes off the deep end, "it's not my f***ing book, never seen it" etc sent to Principals office in tears of rage. that is possibly his most embarrassing moment. |

RE: most embarrasing moment Posted: Sun Jul 8, 2007 3:15 pm A mate of mine got me with writing recommendations under my name to this supermarket...silly stuff etc. for payback I flogged this shocking school photo of him... you know the ones...greasy bowl cut, terrible uniform... pot plant in background looks like hair extension, bad glasses...bad teeth. I send it to TVNZ the TV Show was called 3.45 Live (I think) the host was a pop singer called Rikki Morris...he know has a Studio business in Auckland (I'd plug it but he supports Chelsea, so too bad for him), and the female lead was called Fennella (?) Bathfield. they had a Pen Pals section I say Hi! my name is .... I really like you Fennella, my favorite band is Bros, Tiffany, Jason Donovan etc... I want to be a Fashion Designer...or a Hairdresser. the two of them are pissing themselves as they read it out and we thought it was pretty funny to back home. I reckon this was 1989...one of my brothers actually got it on video...we still bring it out on special occasions. my mate took it well, he is a good bloke. he never filled in other form under my name mind. |

RE: most embarrasing moment Posted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 10:14 am Heh, not quite embarrasing, but highly uncomfortable. I was on stage at Orientation in Dunedin, and mid-song I got this nasty pinched nerve in my chest. I could still scream, but every time I moved it would pinch, and hurt like all fuck. This went for a verse and a chorus and into the bridge I think, before it came right. I stood there like a stunned deer staring into headlights. The song is going RAHRAHRAHRAWOOOOOOARGHROAROARAH! and I'm standing there, stiff as a board with everybody else going nuts around me. |

RE: most embarrasing moment Posted: Tue Jul 24, 2007 10:04 am Hahaha, that reminds me Sailor... I was introducing the song "DISLOCATED" live once (I have this on CD actually). Me: "I wanna hear you f**kers chanting along with us in the chorus, it's easy, just three syllables... dis-lo-ca-ted". Audience: "THAT'S FOUR SYLLABLES" Me: "D'oh! Look what happens when you fail English and Maths, you end up as a singer in a metal band" |
