yip, gotta love the screaming The doctor told me last year that if i kept singing/screaming i was gonna fuck up my voice before i was 25. My old band would play mudvayne, underoath, disturbed and that suff and i'd scream my lungs out and it got to the point where i'd scream so much that i'd tear blood vessles and start coughing up blood, on stage and off. And he told me stop, so i stopped for 6months and just played guitar and sung in a punk band. But now i've decided....you only live once, right? If screaming makes me happy and people love listening to it....i'm gonna continue doing what i love, for the sake of playing music

haha you only live once man, just do it. Smoking is probably worse for you anyway. Just try to scream in a different way to it ain't harsh if you know what I mean, but i don't know if there is any way to scream nicely hehe

there's 2 types of screams i've learnt, there's hard(where you hard core do it from the back of you throat)screams where you hear in Atreyus music and then there's soft screams(where you just open your mouth and go RAAAAGH) where much effort isn't put into it, lol. Yip

i'm listenin to "a letter to someone like you" from Atreyu and there's this heavy angry guitaring and screaming then all of a sudden in the chorus it goes into this completely pop-punk guitaring lol it sounds funny yet rad
