About 3 months ago i bought some brand new fender strap locks and put them on my guitar and all went well UNTIL today i was playing along to story of the years album and did a guitar spin and the whole lock(the bridhe end one) came undone, like i mean fully undone...screw and all came out i wanna cry lol

bro, that happened to my mate on stage, his guitar went sliding along the floor, embarrassing! his guitar was ok though. but guttered!

I don't think it's cuz of the strap locks... the screw woulda probably popped out regardless.

I've never seen a properly secured straplock "pop" out before. Guess you must have worn out the thread or something. Here comes the good ol' match stick trick. Create some more thread =)

i have 4 but i'm selling one....i have a shitty peavey raptor, a les paul custom ebony(black with gold hardware) and 2 fender strats, one custom and one a TD signature

Nylon strings are more for classical guitars, they have that nice soft tone you hear in classical and flamenco guitaring.

If you wanna rock out you want steel stings on an electric guitar.

I suggest you find a gauge of steel strings that suits you and put them on your acoustic.

I can't see myself playing flamingo in the near future, but I've been learning some songs from the foo fighters and nirvana and more, you think steel strings are best for that?

Yeah, steel strings for rock.

There's variations in the types of metal strings you can get, but you'll find what ones suit you best as you go through them.

I found steel strings snap more often if you strum alot.
