The Indie Club Shop is an extension of the Indie Club. Since starting the Indie Club, I've discovered there are tons of unsigned bands that have no distribution. With Indie Club Shop, this is an avenue for bands or artists to distribute their music via our various channels. It is a non-exclusive service, therefore artists are free to find other forms of distribution as well. Our forms of distribution and promotion include.....

1. The Indie Club and Self-Made Club nights

2. The Indie Club website

3. Independent record stores

4. Our overseas trading partners

5. Drill magazine

6. Indie Club Sampler

1. Whilst we do sell demos at the Indie Club at present, it is becoming very clear that cds should be finished product ie: of saleable quality with covers and a disc that has printing on it. Presentation is everything, quite often people don't know what the music is like and are judging their purchase on how they look. It is almost impossible to sell a disc that has no cover and just the name of the band scrawled on the cd in felt pen.

2. In order to be listed on our website you will need to supply 10 cds to the Indie Club at no charge. This is to cover the cost of loading the information onto our site and storage fees for stock. It is a one-off cost ie: once set up, it's on there for good or until you no longer want it there..

3. When we require more stock we will buy eps for NZ$6 and albums for NZ$10 from you. These prices are reflective of the Indie Club pricing structure.

4. We also need a bio and pic so we can build your page. Also if you have your own website or a myspace site, please send through links so that we can add those as well.

5. You will also need to supply us with your contact details ie: contact person, postal adress, email, phone number etc. This is so that we can contact you.

6. An account will be set up for you. You will need to let us know how you would like to be paid ie: direct into your bank account, cheque, paypal etc. Payments will be made on a monthly basis.
