Desperatly looking for "Cruising the Interislander" Posted: Wed Jul 23, 2003 11:31 am Hi everybody! My name is Ralf and I am living in Germany. My girlfriend has been staying in New Zealand last year for about six months. She was studying the law and did an apprenticeship with a law firm in Auckland. Not surprisingly she was absolutely delighted about your beautiful country especially after she travelled both islands on an organized trip. It must have been on this trip that she fell in love with that ferry song (?) of The Warratahs (?) "Cruising The Interislander" I really would like to make her life just a little bit brighter surprising her with it. But it's virtually impossible to get it over here. Could you tell me some sources? What's the name of the album? Is it a traditional? Other interprets? MP3, maybe? Any help is much welcomed, please post or contact me under [email protected] Greeting from the other side of the world, Ralf |

RE: Desperatly looking for "Cruising the Interislander" Posted: Wed Jul 23, 2003 7:36 pm It's called "Cruisin' on the Interislander" and it is by The Warratahs (or Barry Saunders, who is the lead vocalist). Not sure where you would get it, and I don't think it appears on any of their albums (based on the information I have here). I'll keep an eye out and see what I can do for you. |
