wierd lights over auckland, anyone see?

i've just been outside for the past 15 mins watching a weird formation of lights. Anyone else in auckland see them by any chance? They were over the pukekohe way....from our house we oculd only see them from a far distance as i live in Howick. Everyone was saying they were helicopters but i choose to believe they were aliens hehe there were 5 of em

My mate in Auck's has seen some really crazy Military Helicopter exercises going on up there, could be something like that.

There have been some funny *sightings* the world over lately though

yea ofcourse there's other life.

Coz if you take our solar system as an average for other solar systems out there, there'd be on average one planet with life on it in each solar system, assuming it was the right distance from the sun for life to spring forth like us.

And seeing as there are hundreds of thousands of solar systems in a galaxy, that's alot of planets with life on them.

Then there's the infinite number of galaxies in the universe, and then an infinite number of universes in what the french call a certain i-dont-know-what.

Yea it's mind boggling alright..

Not to mention we've had to re-think what conditions must be present for life to form.... long gone is the concept of oxygen and a nice surface temperature!

i was cookin a bbq before and saw one of the lights back tonight and what i find strange is lastnight a erique(spelling??) helicopter flew over low as with no lights on, NOTHING, ZILCH, NADA....u culdnt see anything just hear it

^^^ That's what my mate who lives near Victoria Park saw!

It was the army practicing "lights out" operations... freaky eh!?

They went from Victoria park to the ASB Building in a mock-storming of a building.

Makes you wonder what they're practicing for doesn't it?
