Local Knowledge is the name given to the guidebook I have self-published which is a no bullshit guide to touring New Zealand for bands without big bucks or major label record contracts.

From Booking Shows, Press releases, Contacts, merchandise, posters, support bands, budget, itinerary, tour kit, door sheets, performance contracts and a breakdown of 9 cities in New Zealand to play in...its a great kick start to your tour.

The guide also has more info then just touring tips. Looking for cheap decent eats in towns? somewhere to practise? the independent record stores? etc...etc..

Local Knowledge is for everyone. Version 1.2 is online now as a free PDF. I am currently working on a MAJOR overhaul and massive amount of added features for issue 2 out soon (ish). Please download the current version and please add your ideas and knowledge for the second edition.
