When that single came out the CEO of the company bought a copy of the single for every member of staff, about 500 people at the time, from his own pocket. It didn't hurt sales. To date he hasn't come up to my desk and asked for 500 copies of 'South of Sanity' but I guess I never won a dodgy karaoke competition My copy of the single ended up getting used as a coaster for my coffee mug until I decided it'd make a better frisbee. |
