That annoucement was already made here a little while ago. We'll have our usual feature on the Big Day Out up in the next week or so. It'll have all the usual information in one easy to find place plus a couple of surprises.

muzic.net.nz are receiving press releases from the awesome people at BDO - and we will let you know the next BDO announcement as soon as we have it in our hot little hands.

We will be running another BDO feature this year, complete with photos, reviews and everything you could ever want to know about the BDO - we hope to have this up by the end of the month.

During December we will also have some BDO prizes to give away.... so watch this space!

Why would you want to go anywhere else?

James, contact the sequel. They're the NZ promoters.

They also usually hold a competition for a band to play. Last year bolbox rex won and got to play first. A few years a go dayone had the opening slot.

muzic.net.nz will be at the BDO next year, taking exclusive photos and writing reviews for those of you who can't make it. Keep an eye for us - if we take a photo of you, you will be able to see it up on our BDO feature.

Our BDO feature will be up and running in December and will have everything you ever need to know about BDO 2004, including the site map, schedule and much, much more!

From 1 December we will also be running a BDO competition - 2 lucky people will win a double pass to the BDO (so you can bring a friend) and a Goodshirt album.

does any body know what time the gates open and close

For the past few years they've opened the main gates at 11am. I think at about 10.00am or 10.30am they open part of the stadium where the smaller bands play. Gates close after the event. The last act finishes around 11pm...

I'm not sure what time exactly the gates open but it's best to que early. There's always heaps of people queing from at 10am. Some people que at 8am.. or even 7am.
