Bar Mode will open soon offering original NZ music, dining and an impressive beer selection. Much of February and March is already booked however there are spaces available.

I am hoping to open between January 8 and January 15 in the former Loaded Hog premises.

Please contact me now regarding Orientation 07.

For all artists playing at Bar Mode:

* We supply the PA and engineer.
* We place posters if supplied (40 A3, 20 A2 or 15 A1/A0)
* We place local radio, newspaper and gig guide listings for you
* Venue capacity - 350
* Location - close to the square

PS - I have some spare rooms upstairs which will be used to provide accomodation for touring bands.

Here is an overview of the regular weekly programme:

Monday - 2-4-1 dinner special
11am - Craft Club
7pm - Pub Quiz ($100, $50 & $20 bar tabs as well as spot prizes)

Tuesday - Movie and dinner special
11am - Book club
10pm - 24 Hour Party People ($3 Export, $3 Bubbles & DJs)

Wednesday
12pm - Ladies Lunch
7.30pm - Acoustic artist of the week
10pm - New bands ($4 drink specials and free entry)

Thursday
11am - Coffee Club
8pm - Singer sonwriter set
9pm - Alternating Blues, Folk and Jazz Club performances

Friday
12pm - Business Lunch
5pm - Jazz Quartet
10pm - Rockabilly Band (Or touring artist)

Saturday - Kids $10 Weekend Menu
4pm - Beer Club
10pm - Touring bands

Sunday - Kids $10 Weekend Menu
12pm - Family Roast
4pm - Family Show
8pm - Acoutic Night

good on ya mate. As far as i know, palmy has been crying out for a decent live music venue since guv's closed its doors to bands. Look forward to visiting!

Yeah sonds good.Lets hope metal bands would be allowed to play their also then Nort and fire could do a trip up from wellington.
