Who promotes concerts in wellington? Posted: Fri Jan 12, 2007 9:42 am Im just wondering cause we seem to miss out on all international acts except for dirty old elton and 50cent! Its really getting to annoy me! And i guess there is no way to take auckland out of the picture also.I feel sorry for the south islanders who miss out even more than us.Alltho they did get tenaciuos D which we were snubbed again. They should make @ least sum concerts central so pple from down south can get up also.It doesnt seem to me that anyone is making the effort to get more bands in wellington.Well thats my rant for the day! will look forward to make many more! |

RE: Who promotes concerts in wellington? Posted: Fri Jan 12, 2007 4:35 pm prolly a lack of decent venues in Wellington and poor audience attendence when they do. Unless its the rolling stones or elton john. |

RE: Who promotes concerts in wellington? Posted: Fri Jan 12, 2007 7:36 pm Venues- the westpac trust stadium sucks acoustically, as does the queens wharf events centre, so there aren't any large capacity venues with decent sound quality. secondly, more people are likely to go to a concert in auckland as it's a largely populated area of new zealand. |
