Motocades New EP 'Into The Fall'

After testing the waters with their self titled debut EP last year - Motocade return next week - with a brand new killer 7 track EP aptly titled INTO THE FALL - available in New Zealand through Border Music. This self financed, self produced EP features singles “Bomb Squad” (…cut the red wire, cut the blue wire, see if she blows…) and the brand new hand clapping “My Friends” (…my friends think I'm stupid, for liking you..) These two singles sit alongside 5 other stellar tracks - “Goodnight Boy”, “BBC Blues”, “Bill Murray Fan Club”, “Into The Fall” and the monstrous “State and Maine”. The subject matter of this EP ranges from the tumultuous to the austere, turning an unrelenting gaze on the gamut of relationships thwarted or fulfilled - on childhood memories, exiting lovers, fake friends, drunken moments, psychopaths…and, a bit of Bill Murray for good measure.

Delivery and production is pretty sh*t hot too..

Motocade is indie rock at its best, if we do say so ourselves - NZ be proud. Members - Geordie McCallum (guitar), Will Mulholland (drums), Eden Mulholland (vocals / guitar) and Scott Sutherland (bass) - are made for making music, but more importantly, they've got the kind of talent that doesn't just explode but evolves; this is a sound that isn't going to set but keep on rising. Over the last twelve months, they have developed a reputation for being seriously impressive on stage, they segue between songs that are both profound and playful - elegant yet aggressive.. Indeed, as a live band, Motocade are hard to fault - and, in writing two quality seven track EP's in as many months front man Eden Mulholland has proved himself as a prolific and gifted songwriter.
