avid, a movie editing programme
and garageband, which is actually a powerful programme if used to its potential, but still limited in terms of other pro programmes.

with audacity you can take the waveforms and mix them up, make them reverb and echo and shit.

oh rad, did some recording today, got some wiked double tracking today. Recorded the vocals, recorded the same thing thru a different channel, ran it thru a compressor then delayed it by 30MS and it came out wit ha sik stereo image kinda proud lol

you could ring around some studios and get prices, studio 203 um there's a few in parnell, count york st out they charge $1500 a day. But um cheap i would say $500-$700 for 4 songs dude and they'd prolly be live recordings not overdubs but they'd still have a rad sound. I'll get back to you that one though, i might know somewhere cheaper

Yep, im another Audio Engineer and its a wicked job. Just finished a course up at mount tiger recording studios, hey Sailor i went to an open day at SAE a couple of weeks ago looks fukin mean i should hopefully be goin there, its a toss between Auckland SAE or London SAE.
