At the end of the week (Y'know, sorta Thursday-Sunday isj) post the top 5 albums that rocked your would through the week. Hopefully we'll see some kiwi names pop up aye!? Here's mine, in no order. Alice in Chains - Facelift ($6.99 score at the Wahoo! Yay!) Johnny Cash - American III - Solitary Man Iron Maiden - Killers (first album I ever owned, on vinyl too, still got it) Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache (yeah, I know I said I hate metalcore, but these guys are awesome, IMO) A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step NEXT>>> |

Very vocal oriented, very little actual instrumentation. Lots of vocal guests, choirs etc... not exactly a background CD while you do the housework that's for sure (tried that once... bad idea). Good stuff though. Nothing will top "Homogenic" for me... such an organic sounding album, just swallows me up every time I hear it. Every track is brilliant too, no real weak points. |
