I'm not going Crying

I saw her in 1996 though. She was about 34 then I think. Wearing this little shiny blue dress and cute kid-sized velcroe strap shoes. That was just after "Post" came out.

Wow, I had no idea she was that old. But yeah, her DOB is 21 Nov 1965.

I wish I could see her live, I spent an hour or so on YouTube looking at her live performances, amazing.

Yeah she's been around for a while... The Sugarcubes in the mid-late 80's, plus several bands before that.

Not to mention her VERY first album at the age of 11.

Only 500 copies (I think) ever made.

Nah they're super rare and very expensive.

I'd love to track one down one day.

It's a bunch of Icelandic kids songs or something.

Yup it's all relative. If she never acheived success it'd be worth $2 at a market.

But I'm sure her voice was amazing even then, so it's probably actually well worth a listen. I might see if I can find mp3's anywhere.

Los Angeles 1942. The US Army opening fire on a hovering object. Nothing could budge it. They fired round after around of anti aircraft ammunition and nothing happened.

oh noes don shoot at teh aleeins!

I looked into the whole "visitors from other planets" scernario a while ago, and basically came up with the following conclusions:

1) If you're capable of travelling vast distances through space, why would you make yourself visible? Surely a civilisation that sophisticated would have the technology to "scan" a planet without entering the atmosphere.

2) Of all the billions of galaxies, they come across our tiny little planet!

3) The chances of an alien craft crash landing on earth is slim to none, but these so-called events have been reported numerous times.

4) All the photos/videos look like shite.

Now I do believe that there is life in other parts of the universe and I believe that some of it could be intelligent life, but I just can't fathom that any of them are coming to visit us.

I don't claim to know what that object was, but it should be of concern because it either means a) holy jesus, we are being visited, or b) there is technology in our hands capable of unthinkable feats of physics that we are not being told.

Naturally all footage of all unidentified flying objects is gonna be crap, any amateur shot of a flying object of any kind is gonna look like garbage.

Hot- for hetros anyway.

I agree with Kraven. I think it's unlikely we are alone with such a vast universe. I relate the size of the universe to the unfathomable reality that we once ceased to exist i.e. before we were conceived. But as King suggested, I also believe there are things on this planet that we are being keep in the dark about.

You know if you see a hedgehog during the day it's sick, and will probably die soon. Have you seen this hedgehog recently king?
